📍Title: The Wizard of Oz

📍Setting: Kansas to forest (?)

📍Main Characters: Dorothy, Cowardly Lion, Tin Woodman, Toto, and the scarecrow

📍Topic: Dorothy’s journey so far

📌Summary

The journey for young Dorothy starts from when a big tornado (storm) takes her, her dog Toto, and her house all the way to the fantasy Land of Oz. She topples and kills the bad mean witch by accidentally squashing her with Dorothy’s house.

She meets the nice witch, who informs Dorothy that in order to get back to where Dorothy first came from (Kansas, U.S.A.), she should prefer Dorothy to ask the Wizard of Oz at Emerald City.

So she starts her journey and meets the scarecrow and rescues him from the pole and decides to come with her to get brains.

With her to get brains, then the Tin Woodman was saved by putting oil and decides to come with her for brains, and the lion too for courage.

📌Your Thoughts

My thoughts for the topic is that I find this pretty interesting. Why? Because if, for example, I would say if my house flew away with me and my dog and landed in a fantasy land, I will undoubtedly go nuts.

I also find that the lion is a coward. Most lions we know are verified as fierce predators and wild cats like tigers and bobcats.

My last thoughts are that the Tin Woodman, he says he needs to come with Dorothy and doesn’t need to care if he has one. He would be saying the total opposite!
